Multi Media Artist Business Card: Bold

and Versatile Design.

Branding for an artist should be a sample into their energy -

Your branding should do the same.

I had a fantastic conversation with Wichita based artist Ember Hill/Emo Dustbunny on doing an interim business card to hold them over until they complete their tattoo apprenticeship. Knowing where they are headed helped curate a branding style that could lay a foundation for expansion as their craft does the same.

The black, red, and white colors were strongly inspired by mid-2000s "emo" bands like Green Day, Simple Plan, and My Chemical Romance. The rabbit imagery connects with Em's social media name, but it also symbolizes transformation and storytelling. I wanted to add a QR code to give the card a modern touch while blending it into the illustration for a unified look.

I adjusted a standard blackletter font so the E and H appear more uniform and logo-like while placed next to each other.

I’m looking to take on more projects in this vein—whether you’re a tattoo artist, piercer, or shop owner in need of business cards, appointment cards, merch designs, or branding, let’s create something authentic to your style.

  • Inspired by vintage posters, saloon signage, and classic tattoo flash

  • Custom-crafted typography and layout to match your aesthetic

  • Perfect for artists who want a card as unique as their work

Let’s collaborate! Reach out, and let’s bring your brand to life.
